Item description

The Pre-K/ Kindergarten curriculum can be lots of fun but what supplemental activities do you need to reinforce the skills taught in class or in your homeschool lesson? Try having morning work or bell ringers that teach the same concepts you teach in class! This product contains 26 pages of alphabet identification/recognition and tracer pages. (One page per letter). Use them as morning work, homework, or even small group or RTI work.

I have incorporated many child friendly illustrations which have proven to keep the students focused and interested on what is in front of them. The illustrations do more than just make the worksheets attractive. They actually enhance comprehension and effectiveness through comprehensive and relevant visual examples. This product contains the following letters and vocabulary words:

Each worksheet uses a repetitive format, that helps kids feel comfortable and confident in their ability to complete the worksheet successfully.

• Huge print letters for parents/teachers to utilize in any way they see fit, tracing, gluing yarn onto, covering with legos, playdoh, etc. Kids can trace the big letters with their fingers or even glue and cover with glitter.

• Letter Recognition: Each page has an activity that requires students to recognize and identify the “topic letter”. Kids are asked to color, circle, or place an X on letters that match the letter at the top of the page.

• Tracer Pages: At the bottom of each letter worksheet, students are given the task to trace both upper and lowercase letters. The first example has sequenced arrows to show students the correct letter formation sequence.

*X stands for Xenarthrans?!?!?! That’s quite a word! I thought it would be beneficial to include a real “group” of animals that started with an X, versus using the ever-so-popular “fox” example. I guess there’s something for “us grownups” to learn about as well!
