Children love playing games. This Valentines Sight Word game will help your little learners to play and learn at the same time. This set of Valentine sight word cards includes words from the Grade One Dolch list. (41 words).

They are great for developing visual discrimination and visual memory

It is perfect for individual, small groups, morning work, assessment, literacy center, intervention and fast finishers.

This product consists of:

  • 41 Grade One sight words colour cards
  • 41 Grade One sight words black and white cards
  • Kaboom cards in colour and black and white
  • Instructions for 3 games

Direction: Valentines Sight word game 

1.Shuffle and place cards in a bucket, or in a bag, they cannot see through or place them face down on the table.

2.Students take turns selecting a card and reading out the word on the card

3.If they respond correctly, they keep the card otherwise it is returned to the bucket, bag or table and the other player gets a turn.

4.If a student draws a Cupid card, they must return all their cards to the bucket, the bag or the table.

5.Student with the most cards at the end wins.

Prep

Simply print, laminate and cut out the cards.
