Enjoy this adorable fall hedgehog craft!

To prepare:

This craft can be prepared a couple of ways depending upon the skill set of your students and/or the time you have available to complete it.

1. Print hedgehog on a light brown cardstock. No need to cut it out. Print leaves on varying shades of fall-colored cardstock and cut or have students cut out leaf shapes. 

OR

2. Print hedgehog on white paper and have students color it. No need to cut it out. Print leaves on white paper and have students color the leaves in fall colors and cut out.

Suggestion: Use the leaf style(s) that best matches the cutting skills of your students if you plan for them to participate in the cutting portion of this activity. Or, you can take the students outside to collect leaves and use the hedgehog template only. To extend the learning, students can create pattens with leaves, work on color recognition, discuss seasonal changes and more.
