These low prep “Back to School” crowns are super easy to prep and are a fun and engaging activity to set out the first week of school. A great activity to practice name writing and getting to know each other in the first few days (name writing crown), set out in for morning tubs to promote fine motor skills (coloring and cutting crowns) and to have on stand-by for Birthday celebrations throughout the year (birthday crowns). Your kiddos will love making and wearing these crowns.


INCLUDED:

– 6 “Today was my first day of…” Crowns (School, Pre-K, Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade)

– 6 “I am a superstar; it was my first week in…” (School, Pre-K, Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade)

– 6 “I had a great day in…” (School, Pre-K, Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade)

– 1 “Hi there, my name is…” (Students write their name on the front)

– 1 “Today is my birthday. I am… years old!” (Students write their age on the front)

You will need:

Scissors, glue, markers, pencils, cardstock strips or sentence strips and a stapler/tape.


How to use:

Super easy to prep. Simply print on cardstock or heavy construction paper and you’re ready to go.

Get you students to color and decorate the crown. Finally, cut out the crown and staple/stick to the headband pieces provided. Alternatively, you can use sentence strips or bulletin board border to make the headband.
